With the new distillery doors well and truly open, we thought it was time to host our first Midsommar feast on Saturday 22nd June! In Sweden, Midsommar is one of the most popular holidays of the year where families and friends come together to celebrate the summer with flowers, food, a maypole and of course, aquavit. With our Swedish roots we've always intended to throw one at the distillery, and now finally it's happening!
Our Midsommar Feast is a celebration of summer complete with maypole, flower crown making, games, music, delicious food from our new neighbours Orchard Kitchen and a specially created cocktail menu from us.
On the food menu there will be outdoor spit roasted Humble By Nature reared lamb, an ultimate BBQ veggie option and free range sausage hot dogs for the kids. There will also be Swedish style herring plates paired with aquavit available at the bar, a real Swedish Midsommar classic, and music by Bristol legend, J Morrison (Stowaway, Wilderness).

MIDSOMMAR MENU
Lamb main
Humble By Nature spit roasted lamb marinated with herbs, BBQ roasted tomatoes and peppers, rocket and cashew pesto salad in freshly baked rosemary and salt focaccia with a dipping gravy pot.
Veggie main
The ultimate BBQ vegetables marinated with rosemary, garlic, thyme, sage and marjoram, BBQ roasted tomatoes and peppers sauce, rocket and cashew pesto salad in freshly baked rosemary and salt focaccia with a dipping cheese pot.
Kids
Free range sausage hot dog with ketchup dipping pot (veggie sausages available).
