Foraging and Gin Making

Experience a unique blend of foraging and spirit-distilling with Chloé from Gourmet Gatherings on a 4-hour adventure set against the beautiful backdrop of the Welsh countryside. Kicking off at 11:30am near the Severn Bridge, embark on a 1.5-hour guided walk along the stunning Severn Estuary, where Chloé will guide you through the rich bounty of wild, seasonal ingredients, explaining their characteristics and how they can be transformed into delectable spirits.

After foraging, take a leisurely 25-minute drive through the scenic Wye Valley to reach Silver Circle Distillery in Catbrook. Upon arrival, refresh yourself with a Wye Valley gin & tonic, followed by an enlightening gin-making workshop. Expert distillers will walk you through the process, from understanding botanicals to the distillation process, and share insights about their award-winning craft gin and other spirits. Engage in the art of creating your bespoke 70cl bottle of gin or vodka, utilising the wild ingredients you handpicked, and take home not just a bottle, but great memories of an afternoon well-spent in the Wye Valley.
